2013 Green Leaf Award
Honoring Banks Helping Their Communities and the Environment
ENTRY DEADLINE: AUGUST 30
The Green Leaf Award, sponsored by BankNews magazine, recognizes community financial institutions nationwide helping to improve their communities through cooperation and participation in programs and projects; and, at the same time, contributing to a better environment through policies, programs and technology. The award covers three primary areas: staff involvement; bank services and technology; and environmental participation.
The Green Leaf Award is open to all community financial institutions, including branch locations. Vendors are also invited to enter their clients. Awards are presented in three categories based on asset size:
- Less than $500 million (in assets)
- $501 million - $10 billion
- More than $10 billion
Winners of the Green Leaf Award, as well as financial institutions receiving honorable mentions, will be recognized in the December 2013 issue of BankNews. BankNews reserves the right not to give an award in a category with fewer than three entries.
