CardWizard FCP 20/20

The usage of bank cards is growing in popularity. According to the Federal Reserve, debit card payments rose 17.5 percent per year between 2003 and 2006.

Dynamic Card Solutions (DCS) helps financial institutions capitalize on this demand by offering customized bank cards instantly to consumers. DCS’ patent-pending process utilizing its’ CardWizard FCP 20/20, launched in November 2007, and robust CardWizard software produces a thermal, unembossed card personalization solution allowing branch personnel to add background images on any bank card on-demand.

A selected image is first printed on film and then transferred via heat and pressure onto the blank bank card. Thermal printing increases card durability while eliminating a card embossing machine, saving time and money for the bank by reducing the use of hardware equipment.  Printing the images on-demand reduces the need for multiple, pre-printed card stocks at the branch.

DCS’ CardWizard FCP 20/20 has received enthusiastic acceptance from the financial community. TD Banknorth, headquartered in Maine, piloted the CardWizard FCP 20/20 in 48 branches. The success of the pilot has now compelled the bank to expand the program to its current network of nearly 1100 branches.
