Julie Morgan joined BankNews Media in September 2003. In her role as assistant editor, she provides assistance on the company’s state bank directories. She also works closely with the advertising department in overseeing the administration of website advertising on BankNews.com, the company’s web portal serving community bankers.
Prior to joining BankNews, Julie worked as an intern at Coin World magazine in Sydney, Ohio. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications and film, with a minor in journalism, at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan. While there, she worked as student assistant in the college’s Institutional Advancement office while maintaining the position of co-editor of The Moundbuilder yearbook. She was also a public relations intern with the college Communications Office.
