Julie Morgan joined BankNews Media in September 2003. In her role as administrative assistant, she works closely with the advertising department in overseeing all the administration of all website advertising and vendor listings in the BankNews Online Buyer's Guide. She also assists on other advertising-related projects.
In addition, she provides assistance on the company’s state bank directories, and helps the company's web editor to maintain up-to-date editorial and financial content on BankNews.com, the company’s web portal serving community bankers.
Prior to joining BankNews, Julie worked as an intern at Coin World magazine in Sydney, Ohio. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications and film, with a minor in journalism, at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. While there, she worked as a student assistant in the college’s Institutional Advancement office.
