Kim Becker is the sales manager for BANKworkforce, an online employment service designed to help bankers find new positions and banks find new employees. Kim was responsible for the development of BANKworkforce and oversees the day-to-day management of the site.

Kim also is an executive recruiter for Financial Placements, an executive search and recruitment service helping banks recruit experienced, successful and quality senior- and mid-level executives, and assisting banking professionals obtain new employment opportunities that provide career advancement. Kim assists his bank clients in recruiting, interviewing, screening and evaluating potential candidates.

Kim has been with BankNews Media for 11 years, having joined the company in 1997. Prior to BankNews, Kim had 10 years of experience in commercial banking and 15 years of experience in mortgage banking. He graduated from the Advance Program in the School of Banking at the University of Texas-Lubbock.

Kim is the past president of the Winkler County American Heart Association and the past president of the Jaycee’s. He has also served as an instructor for the American Bankers Association and American Real Estate. In addition, he has been an adjunct teacher at Longview Community College in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He and his wife, Mary, live in Holden, Missouri.
