Robb Bertels, national sales director, oversees sales for all of the company’s publications, including BankNews, Western Banking and BankNews Mid-Week, as well as all state banking journals: California Banker, Florida Banking, Illinois Banker, Texas Banking and Virginia Banking. In addition, he oversees advertising sales in the BankNews Bank Directories and Texas Banking Red Book, and advertising and sponsorships for the company's websites, BankNews.com and WesternBanking.net.
Robb, who joined BankNews Media in April 2008, has more than 20 years of experience in publishing, advertising, marketing and communications. Nineteen of these years were spent spent with Vance Publishing, most recently as vice president/publishing director for Vance's Food360o Group.
Robb graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in journalism/advertising.
