Oct 4, 2012 - BankNews Media, publisher of bank directories for more than 50 years, is pleased to announce that it will publish a brand new directory, the Florida Banking Blue Book, on behalf of the Florida Bankers Association. Available in January 2013, the annual Florida Banking Blue Book is the new name of the Florida Financial Institutions Directory. The Blue Book promises to be the authoritative reference for financial institution professionals, attorneys, CPAs and companies serving the Florida banks and credit unions.
“We are extremely pleased to be working with the Florida Bankers Association on its annual directory,” said Janet Holman, president and publisher of BankNews Media. “We have published the FBA’s official magazine for many years, and the new Florida Banking Blue Book is a wonderful addition to our family of state and regional bank directories.”
The Florida Blue Book will include contact information, financial data, bank officers and directors, routing numbers, hours of business, branch locations, correspondents, association memberships, and merger and name change information for every commercial bank and thrift and credit union in Florida.
The print Blue Book features a large, 6-1/2-inch by 8-1/2-inch format, making it easy to use and handle. The online version offers all the information from the print directory plus the option to search by individual name, financial institution, primary and branch locations or asset size. The new Florida Banking eBook will feature live email and website links, as well as the ability to direct-dial phone numbers.
The Florida Banking Blue Book CD is ideal for marketing applications and includes all the information of the print directory. The CD format allows for import into Excel and other database applications for customized marketing and promotional projects.
