May 29 - Chase earned the highest score in an evaluation of the five largest retail U.S. banks in Forrester Research’s report just released. Chase scored 69 out of 100 and tied with another bank for the top spot overall – earning #1 for the third straight year.
In its 2014 U.S. Mobile Banking Functionality Benchmark, Forrester cited Chase for:
Providing strong transactional features;
Offering a wide range of transfers, bill pay and person-to-person payments; and
Guiding customers to information for other channels and finding ATMs and branches.
Forrester Research, a global research and advisory firm, used its proprietary 2014 Mobile Banking Functionality Benchmark methodology to evaluate and rank the mobile banking efforts of the five largest U.S. retail banks. Its three steps are: defining a user scenario, scoring the banks' mobile banking services across more than 35 categories and criteria, and ranking the banks.
“Our customers love the capabilities of Chase Mobile®,” said Gavin Michael, head of Digital for Consumer and Community Banking at Chase. “We believe the Forrester ranking affirms the importance we place on creating an exceptional user experience for our customers at Chase.”
Customers have given high marks to the redesigned Chase Mobile App for iPhone®, which debuted last month with streamlined navigation and a simplified experience. Chase will continue to transform customers’ digital experience, with additional updates planned for later this year.
