BankNews Magazine Expands Its Reach Nationwide

Nov 1 - BankNews magazine, the leading publication for community banks for more than 100 years, is expanding its circulation from a regional Midwestern magazine to a national magazine effective Jan. 1, 2011. By expanding its circulation, community bank management teams in all 50 states will have access to the latest news and information to help them make informed decisions for their financial institutions.

“We are very excited to expand our coverage and believe this will benefit both the community banking industry and BankNews itself,” said Janet Holman, publisher of BankNews.

BankNews will continue to be led by Editor-in-Chief Bill Poquette and will continue to provide regional news and information in each issue as well as the informative, unbiased feature articles and the independent reporting bankers have come to expect.

“By broadening our audience we will be able to better serve the industry as a whole while still keeping out niche, which is our regional news,” said Poquette. “It is that regional information that sets us apart from other publications and creates a more personal reading experience for the bankers.”
