OCC Allows National Bank and Federal Savings Association Offices Affected by Hurricane Sandy to Close

Oct 29 - The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has issued a proclamation allowing national bank and federal savings association offices affected by Hurricane Sandy to close at their discretion.

Those offices should make every effort to reopen as quickly as possible to address the banking needs of their customers, she added.
