Sept 25 - Pacific Continental Corp., Eugene, Ore., (Nasdaq: PCBK), the holding company of Pacific Continental Bank, announced that as of Sept. 15, 2013, Nazim Karmali is heading up the greater Seattle region as market president. Prior to accepting his promotion, Karmali served as commercial banking manager and senior vice president at Pacific Continental. Previous market president Bob Harding will be returning to Oregon, assuming the role of market president for the greater Portland region.

"Nazim's experience in the Seattle banking market and demonstrated leadership as part of the Pacific Continental team will be crucial as we continue to enhance the bank's presence in the greater Seattle region," commented Hal Brown, CEO.

Karmali has been part of the Pacific Continental team since March of this year; previously he worked for Opus Bank out of Seattle as managing director and senior client manager. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and master's in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia and is a graduate of the Stanford University's Executive Education program on "Managing Teams for Innovation and Success."
