Dec. 13 - The Electronic Transactions Association, the trade association of the global electronic payments industry, has announced that floor space for the brand-new Mobile Pay Zone at ETA's 2013 Annual Meeting and Expo is 85 percent sold. The Mobile Pay Zone showcases the latest in mobile-based payment technology in a special exhibit section at the nation's largest payments industry trade show, taking place in New Orleans from April 30 to May 2, 2013.
"Mobile payments are in a period of unprecedented innovation and represent incredible business opportunities for the entire electronic transactions industry," said Jason Oxman, CEO of ETA. "The 2013 ETA show is the ideal platform for getting business done. The Mobile Pay Zone exhibit area, our new Mobile Payment Innovations 2013 sessions, and other show enhancements make ETA's 2013 Annual Meeting and Expo the must-attend business event. ETA's 2013 Annual Meeting and Expo will feature 200 exhibitors across 150,000 square feet of space at the state-of-the-art Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in the heart of New Orleans. More than 3,000 CEOs, presidents, investors, principals and payment professionals representing the entire electronic payments ecosystem will gather to conduct business, strategize, unveil new products and network.
