Peikert Named President and CEO of Wolf River Community Bank
Jan 22 - The board of directors of Wolf River Community Bank, New London, Wis., is pleased to announce that Joe Peikert has been named president and CEO of the bank. He assumes the role from Jim Olson, who has served as president of the bank since its inception and will continue to serve as chairman of the board.
Peikert has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the bank since March 2007. In his new position, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bank. Peikert has worked in management positions in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. Peikert and his family make their home in Hortonville.
Peikert is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Platteville with a degree in Business-Finance. He graduated first in his class in 2007 from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and he is also a Certified Public Accountant.
In addition to his duties as chairman of the bank board of directors, Olson will continue working full-time at the bank and he will continue to service his existing loan customers.
Olson has many years of experience in the financial services industry in the Hortonville and New London area. He was one of the original founders of the bank in 1996.
Wolf River Community Bank operates bank offices in Hortonville and New London.
