Jan 24 - San Diego-based Seacoast Commerce Bank (OTCQB: SCCB) sadly announces the passing of founding chairman, and current director, Bruce A. Nunes.
Nunes, who was an original organizer and the founding chairman of the board of Seacoast Commerce Bank, passed away Jan. 20, 2014. Nunes was a retired banking executive of over 38 years, and former executive vice president with Bank of Commerce and Grossmont Bank, and former regional vice president with Wells Fargo Bank.
Allan W. Arendsee, chairman of the board, commented, "Bruce will be sadly missed and we send our deepest condolences to his family. Being the founding chairman of the bank, he was responsible for developing and instituting the foundation of our institution which has allowed us to prosper. His insights and guidance have been instrumental to our success over the years and we will greatly miss his friendship."
