CBAO Expands Service Corporation Offerings

Sept 10 - Robert L. Palmer, president of The Community Bankers Association of Ohio and its subsidiary CBAO Service Corporation, has announced an aggressive expansion of the services and products that are offered by the Association to Ohio’s community banks and the small business community.

These new services include business loans and alternatives to loans, which will enable community banks to help their customers get the funding they need in instances where those needs cannot be met with traditional financing. Major programs offered are equipment leasing, factoring, accounts receivable finance, merchant cash advance, sales volume-based working capital loan, purchase order or contract finance, SBA loans, programs for commercial and multi-family real estate (including bridge, hard money and settlements), USDA guarantee and unsecured business credit lines. Special use programs include a floor plan program for auto dealers, a franchise purchase program, agriculture and agribusiness programs, and an indirect lending program to accept “C” credit consumer loans.

The CBAO Service Corporation continues to offer programs including credit card and merchant processing, disaster and check recovery, SBA processing and servicing, online banking, credit card income maximization, office supplies, package delivery, security brokerage, government deposit management, mortgage support services and ATM services.

Palmer further announced that Kyle Moseman of Ashland, Ohio, has been named product and service manager and will lead the expanded Service Corporation. Moseman has 30 years of experience in lending, which includes 15 years as a mortgage lending manager for a community bank. Moseman has also owned and operated a franchise printing business and his own capital acquisition firm.
