Feb 25 - Farin & Associates Inc., a consulting firm providing asset/liability management services, retail product-pricing solutions, education, consulting, and core deposit studies to community financial institutions, has announced the dates and topics for its 2013 Consulting Workshops. FARIN workshops deliver a combination of education, consulting and modeling that instruct senior management teams on strategies that will help improve the performance of their institutions. Attending bankers will also get a head start on crucial current regulatory issues.
FARIN's Consulting Workshops are made up of a series of sub-workshops, each with an education component and an interactive modeling component; these mini workshops include:
Tom Farin, president and CEO of Farin and Associates, stated, "One of the most effective educational efforts we've ever delivered have been our Consulting Workshops. The workshops, aimed at senior management teams, have combined education with the ability to immediately apply the material to the institution's balance sheets and income statements. These workshops are especially valuable during periods of significant economic and regulatory change."
Chris Acker, senior vice president and director of client care for Farin & Associates, added, "Our consulting workshops are a great opportunity for any institution that is interested in working to find ways to manage their institution in a more profitable way. Between the experts and the participants at the workshop, attendees come away with ideas that have worked in other institutions, so they are battle-tested. They also come away with contacts that they feel they can go to with questions, and feel good about getting an answer they can use. We pride ourselves with being very in tune with the issues in the industry, and we are willing to share that knowledge with all participants. The exchange of knowledge at the workshop is very exciting, and clients coming away having learned what they can put to work at their shop to make a difference."
