Oct 9 - The New Hampshire Bankers Association elected officers and directors for the coming year during its annual meeting in September.
Michael J. Long, president, Community Guaranty Savings Bank, Plymouth, has been elected NHBA chairman; K. Mark Primeau, president/CEO of Bank of New Hampshire, Laconia, was elected vice chairman; Joseph Carelli, president, Citizens Bank NH-VT, Manchester, was elected treasurer, and Samuel L. Laverack, president/CEO, Meredith Village Savings Bank, Meredith, was elected secretary.
Newly elected directors during the annual meeting include James J. O’Neill Jr., president, Federal Savings Bank, Dover, to a two-year term; and Daniel R. Morrison, president/CEO, Optima Bank & Trust, Portsmouth, to a special one-year term to fill an unexpired position.
They join other members of the board including Jeffery B. Savage, president of Franklin Savings Bank, Franklin; Gregg R. Tewksbury, president/CEO of Savings Bank of Walpole; and outgoing NHBA chairman, Kathryn G. Underwood, president/CEO, Ledyard National Bank, Hanover.
