Jan 17 - BITS has become the Vermont Bankers Association's latest endorsed Associate Member. Under the recently signed marketing agreement, BITS and the Vermont Bankers Association have established a relationship that includes the exclusive endorsement of BITS' cloud telecommunication services to its community bank members.
"In 2012, we strengthened our commitment to establishing a footprint in New England by expanding our local business development team. We've been highly successful in growing our community bank customer base in the Mid-Atlantic as well as the Midwest, and are greatly looking forward to the opportunity our new agreement with the Vermont Bankers Association affords us in 2013. This endorsement is an important and honorable recognition of BITS, as the VBA is a very professional organization, with strong ties and credibility deeply rooted with their bank members," said Christian Ericson, BITS' chief marketing officer.
"The VBA endorsement of BITS is a result of two organizations sharing the mission to exclusively service banks. BITS has the ability to help banks cut costs while upgrading banks' telecommunications infrastructures in preparation for cloud based services. It is our hope that many of our members will be able to benefit from the superior services BITS provides," stated Christopher D'Elia, VBA's president.
Additionally as part of the agreement, VBA and BITS will work together in producing direct-mail campaigns and other marketing collateral pieces as a part of their joint promotional efforts. BITS also plans on establishing strong attendance at VBA-held events in the coming year.
