TIB Elects Correspondent Relations Officer To Serve Michigan, Indiana

May 6 - TIB-The Independent BankersBank has elected Mike Bass as vice president/correspondent relations officer, serving community banks throughout Indiana and Michigan.  Bass joins TIB’s already substantial staff of calling officers across the Midwest in providing personalized correspondent banking service to independent community banks throughout the region.

“We are extremely fortunate to have Mike join our team, as more and more community banks in the Midwest continue to move their correspondent business to TIB,” noted Michael O’Rourke, president and CEO of TIB. “We are excited to be able to provide full service to both Indiana and Michigan and look forward to continuing to grow our service. As with our previous moves, this should only serve to underscore the fact that we are here to serve Midwest bankers for decades to come.”

Bass is a native of Indiana and is based in Indianapolis. His extensive past experience in working for and with financial institutions across the Midwest will serve both himself and TIB’s customers well. He is a graduate of Ball State University, earning a BS in Finance. Bass can be reached at mbass(at) or at 317-600-7028.

With more than three decades of service to the community banking industry, TIB is the one of the nation’s largest and oldest bankers’ banks, with nearly 1,800 customer banks, located in all 50 states. From traditional correspondent lending assistance to the latest in operational services and card programs, TIB can serve the needs of virtually any-sized independent bank. TIB can be found at
