Allied Payment Network’s FlexPay Internet Bill Pay Solution Integrates With PicturePay, Features Transaction-Based Pricing Model

August 12 - Allied Payment Network, a provider of online and mobile bill payment services to the financial industry, has announced that FlexPay, Allied’s Internet bill pay solution, now offers banks and credit unions full integration with Allied’s industry-leading PicturePay mobile photo bill pay solution, as well as flexible, per-transaction pricing rather than the traditional per-user pricing model.

Through this integration, FlexPay users can now see PicturePay photos within Internet bill pay, thereby creating an archive of past bills. “FlexPay’s integration with PicturePay means that users can view pictures of bills they’ve paid with their smartphone,” said Ralph Marcuccilli, president and CEO of Allied. “Customers are telling us that they love having a cloud-based archive of their bills.”

The integration offers several other advantages. FlexPay payees are populated from PicturePay photos, and payee lists are synced between both products. FlexPay seamlessly integrates with any online banking platform to match the look and feel of an institution’s existing website to provide bank customers and credit union members with greater continuity in their online banking experience. Users can also choose from a variety of available user interface formats to match their individual preferences. Additionally, FlexPay’s expedited payment options provide customers and members with more control over the timing of their payments.

Significantly, Allied offers an alternative to traditional pricing for bill pay services. “It’s difficult for community financial institutions to justify pushing Internet bill pay usage, because on the surface, it just drives up their overhead costs,” said Marcuccilli. “But with FlexPay’s transaction-based pricing model, institutions can provide Internet bill pay to all users without bearing a cost for those users who are not making any payments. At Allied, we deliver affordable technology that even the largest banks don’t have and help any financial institution develop competitive advantage.”
