FREEDOM8 is a website content management system designed for community bank websites that are both FDIC and FFIEC compliant. Providing community banks with the tools to manage their website, FREEDOM8 4.0 offers users editing control over more than just simple text and images.
T8DESIGN offers bank customers a complete website, with features including rate boards, loan applications, interactive graphics and navigation, increased security and a mobile-optimized version. The most beneficial feature is FREEDOM8; rather than paying a fee to a website developer, FREEDOM8 puts the control back into the hands of community banks who can implement their own site updates and changes. Each new bank receives a simple interface
allowing for easy and immediate updates by the bank point person and full FREEDOM8 training.
Some newly added features of FREEDOM8 4.0 include an upgraded Image Editor, which guides the user in easily scaling, rotating or cropping any image directly on the website. The Text Editor now includes spell check, expanded hyperlinking and special characters. A Style Bar feature has been added to help maintain the website’s brand integrity with pre-defined type sizes and
formatting. An advanced user interface makes organizing folders and uploading files simple.
Along with added and enhanced features, FREEDOM8 has integrated management features that allow community banks to maintain compliance with examiners. The Administrative Log was designed to aid IT or Marketing departments in storing change management records. Secure Forms Manager allows banks to collect and securely store customer information provided when
filling out online applications or contact us forms. User Management allows banks to organize who has access to edit each text or image area of the site. This allows the administrator to lock down certain areas of the site based on user groups. Users can be pulled from the bank’s enterprise authentication system such as Microsoft Active Directory, or Unix’s LDAP allows IT directors control of access through a single system.
