VSoft Agile and Centrum Product Lines
VSoft Agile is a solution line that comprises distributed capture product applications. VSoft Centrum is a solution line for centralized check processing applications. Centrum includes Digital Dashboard, the management interface that provides real-time insight into operations, and a full complement of supporting applications to facilitate item storage and research, reduce fraud risk and deliver information to financial institutions and their customers.
In the last 12 months, VSoft made several enhancements to its overall product suite, including:
- Release of its Consumer Capture solution, Agile Home/Office, capitalizing on flatbed scanner user. (Introduced September 2008)
- Release of enterprise-wide duplicate detection software. (Introduced July 2009)
- Release of Centrum Gateway – ATM solution to allow ATM image-processing for both NCR and Diebold image-enabled machines. (Introduced March 2009)
- Reporting available in Crystal Reports V10, which includes an enhanced report-generation UI. (Introduced March 2009)
- Item-level review and approval option within merchant capture to satisfy regulatory tracking requirements for vertical markets. (Introduced April 2009)
VSoft’s recent enhancements to its Agile and Centrum product lines warrant an Innovative Solutions award because:
- VSoft’s additions to its imaging suite (Agile Home/Office and Centrum Gateway – ATM) allow financial institutions to offer more convenient services to customers, thus improving customer convenience and satisfaction levels without sacrificing monitoring and compliance. Furthermore, the addition of Consumer Capture and the enhancements to Agile Merchant Web allow financial institutions to create a new revenue-generating service that increases deposits from sources that have been previously untapped.
- VSoft’s security enhancements (Duplicate Detection) improve efficiency in item processing by reducing duplicate items. As check imaging becomes increasingly necessary for financial institutions to remain competitive, they will need a complementary solution in place to detect fraud and error. Intentional or unintentional, banks will need to be prepared, and VSoft’s enhancements provide the needed level of security in its solutions to combat fraud.
