“As banks develop their succession pipeline, it is imperative for rising stars to develop and sharpen a broad set of skills grounded in strategy and vision,” said Jim Edrington, ABA’s chief member engagement officer. “Budding leaders from banks of all sizes and business models have a unique opportunity to access the time-tested strategic wisdom of Wharton’s renowned faculty and earn a tangible and industry-recognized credential in the process.”
The certificate, focused on leadership strategy, explores methods for designing and implementing strategies that drive a company’s growth and maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The certificate concentrated on engaging and motivating talent explores ways to engage employees, foster creativity and create a culture that is conducive to success. The certificate addressing advanced leadership helps emerging leaders define and refine their goals and develop a personal plan for achieving success.
