Another New Financial Podcast Hits the Airwaves

June 13 — Porter Keadle Moore is launching its new GroundBanking podcast series, which focuses on innovation in the financial industry as well as the companies and individuals driving this success.

“This original series discusses topics imperative to today’s fast-paced, technology-driven environment and how financial industry experts are thinking outside the box and exploring innovative ways to stay competitive while creating change and growth in the industry,” the company’s release states.

Each episode will feature bankers and/or fintech industry experts discussing both challenges and solutions in today’s evolving financial landscape, such as implementing financial technology, creating new lines of business or finding more efficient ways to better serve their customers and communities.

“We are excited to launch this new series,” said Terry Ammons, systems partner for PKM and host of the GroundBanking series. “We are fortunate to work with such a wide variety of amazing clients and industry leaders. With these podcasts, we have the opportunity to not only share their stories and insights, but create a hub of rich and insightful information for the financial community.”

The show is early in its run and currently has two episodes available for listeners:

  • Don Campbell, Managing Principal of RightCourse, and Glen Sarvady, Managing Principal of 154 Advisors, co-authors of the recently released 2018 State of Georgia’s FinTech Ecosystem Report from the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), join Terry Ammons to discuss the report’s key findings, highlights and trends and what they could mean for the industry.
  • Guest Terri Sands, Director of Payments Risk Management at State Bank & Trust joins host Terry Ammons to discuss the bank’s successful experience embracing faster payments and the future landscape of the industry.

PKM has several more episodes planned for the remainder of the year, with new ones being added approximately each month; listeners can sign-up to receive notification when each become available. To listen, subscribe or download the latest and previous episodes, visit
